This picture was taken two weeks ago. It's his 4 month shot. |
Mack's meds finally seem to be at the right levels. We're still taking his Zantac twice a day, plus the new medicine, Prevacid, twice a day. In the next few days we will start weaning off of the Zantac and try (again) to switch to only the Prevacid. The last two days have been great. He has stopped crying so much and has been able to eat. We are so very thankful that he seems to be feeling better.
Yesterday he went for his procedure to fix his circumcision. It went so much better than I expected! He is a brave little boy and I was so very proud of him. We are still having to take really good care of it at home and at each diaper change...it re-attaches so quickly! We are grateful to have this behind us.
We are still going to physical therapy once a week. He does not like going and tends to be pretty upset for the rest of the day after we go. We are guessing this is because he is sore from all the stretches? I still do his 'workout' with him at home each day as well. Our goal is to finish up with physical therapy in the next 8 weeks before our insurance coverage expires.
Thank you to all of you who called, emailed, texted, or sent facebook messages yesterday to check on him. We appreciate all of you and how much you love Mack. We love you!
Info:
He is currently 16 lbs (75th%) and is in the 90th+% for height. He is wearing sized 6-9 month clothes. He still will not roll over, but I think that's more him refusing to than his ability. He sleeps all night and loves to play on his back. We still feed him 5 feedings a day with his bottle and we try to feed him cereal each evening. He still spits out the cereal due to his tongue thrust reflex, but we're hoping that changes soon!~ He wants to put everything in his mouth and he loves his feet.
I'm so glad he is able to eat without pain right now ... and I hope that will continue! He's adorable, and I can't wait to see all of you again soon!
