Happy Birthday, Karsyn!

Karsyn Rose is turning three today. On one hand I cannot BELIEVE she is three, and on the other hand it seems like we've had her in our lives forever. It's hard to remember life before Karsyn!

She was born with a strong will and spunky personality, and we love her dearly. Some days she literaly drives me to tears, but I cannot imagine my life without her. Karsyn has the sweetest smile and is beginning to really speak words of wisdom and truth when I need to hear them. She has a huge heart and compassion for others and she loves to 'help'.

Right now Karsyn's favorites include: dressing up like a princess, any Barbie or Rapunzel (or any Disney princess) movie or item of clothing, gummy bears, playing outside and riding her tricycle, jumping on her bed, pears, singing during naptime when she should be sleeping, giving an extra hug and kiss before she'll let us leave her for anything, helping me bake brownies, hopping on one foot, watching Dora, Diego, SuperWhy, or Jake and the Neverland Pirates, Ms. Rachel, wearing my high heels, Pop Pop,  fighting bedtime, having her back and arms scratched, drinking Sprite, playing with water and sand, and Puggles.

She is starting to learn to be able to control her temper (at times) and can even go without a nap now without completely falling apart. She has a huge vocabulary and I can communicate with her openly about anything and everything and carry on an intelligent conversation. Although, "Why?" is most often her response these days.

I thought I'd post some pictures of her over the years. For any of you that know me well, you know that some most days we struggle with K. But let me tell you, I wouldn't trade her for any other 'easy' kid in the world. She is becoming such a delight and has such a sweet spirit and happy heart. Karsyn Rose- our lives are blessed by you being in them. We love you and we cherish you. If you happen to read this one day, know that you are worth every single bit of the effort and we know that you are going to use your strong will to bring glory to Him! We love you!
