Yesterday we shined our sinks. Today, we tackle underneath our sinks. This area in my home tends to be a catch-all where I throw things quickly before Mack can get into the cabinet. It was a MESS. I questioned even showing you how bad it was in the "before" picture but I'm all about being real, so here you go...
This was how it started:
I know, bad, huh?!
Here's the after picture, followed by some close-up shots.
This is the left side. I use these lotions, baby shampoo and baby oil for my homemade baby wipes. The tang is to keep my dishwasher clean and I have the sponges as well as Dawn for cleaning dishes.
I compiled as many of the baggies as I could and now am down to just four boxes (compared to the 8 I started with)
This cabinet organizer is GREAT! We got ours at Walmart a few years back.
This is our plastic bag holder. It has been a good purchase, and was also from Walmart.
This bin is for dirty dishes so that my shiny sink doesn't get all junked up.
There you have it. A quick, easy challenge for today. Tomorrow we'll have another kitchen task to complete. Later this week we'll be tackling our refrigerators, so you may want to start throwing out expired items now.
Love to you all!
Ah ha! I can post anonymously on here! I have not cleaned out from under my kitchen sink since I had a mouse in the kitchen 21 years ago....yes that was so traumatic I remember the exact date. It has been my least favorite place in the house since, and I avoid it as much as possible. So I'll be skipping this days challenge!
ReplyDeleteHow does the tub for the dirty dishes work, does it really get used? I'm looking for a way to maximize the space in my kitchen. It is very small and we have 4 children. So, as you well know, dishes seem to be a constant battle, and we don't have a dishwasher. I'm just wondering if I want the dirty dishes under the sink instead of in the sink.
