Labor Day Beach Trip

We headed down to Carolina Beach this past weekend for our annual whole-family Labor Day Beach tradition. This year there were 20 of us. We had a GREAT time, although the weekend flew by. My family could not get over how changed Karsyn was since last year. She was SO happy! Even without a nap, without any sort of routine, and while staying up until 10:30 or later each night! It was GREAT!!! Mack, on the other hand, was quite a bit grumpier due to some teething issues, but I think he had fun as well.
Last year when we were on this same trip, the doctor predicted that Mack would need a year's worth of physical therapy for his torticolis as well as a corrective helmet for the shape of his head. Well, we were cleared from Physical Therapy LONG ago and he never needed the helmet. Thank you, God!

This weekend is one of the highlights of the entire year for us. My family is full of my favorite people in the world and it's so nice to get away and spend a short while with them. It's an exciting time right now in our family as well, because in the next year, TWO of my cousins are getting married, and next weekend one is being ordained as a minister! To say I'm a proud cousin would be quite the understatment.
